Individual Psychotherapy
Individual psychotherapy refers to what many people call “talk therapy.” The purpose of the therapy is to help a person cope with, understand, or resolve psychological distress or difficulties. Psychotherapy can be used to treat a wide variety of mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and substance use disorders.
Our Individual Psychotherapy services will help you to deal with life stressors such as work-related stress, grief, relationship problems, and other life transitions. Our Psychotherapy involves a client and a therapist working together to identify the client’s goals, create a treatment plan, and help the client reach those goals. The frequency and duration of psychotherapy sessions will vary depending on the client’s needs.
Group Psychotherapy
Group psychotherapy, also known as group therapy, is a type of treatment that involves a group of people typically experiencing similar challenges. A group is led by a licensed psychotherapist (sometimes two psychotherapists), who will create and reinforce the group rules and structure and guide group sessions. The group operates according to basic rules and structure.
While “open group,” which means new members will join as the group goes, would be an example of a group structure. The therapist will typically guide the group by leading discussions or lessons or introducing topics in group sessions. Our Group therapy service can effectively treat mental health conditions and life stressors and helps by providing education, coping skills, peer support, and a sense of community
